For the past 4 years The Columbus Black International Film Festival, lovingly known as CBIFF, has commissioned me 2 Creative Media as the principle creator for marketing materials and promotional content.
Since the focus of CBIFF is highlighting the spectrum of stories told by people in the African diaspora, I took some inspiration from the largest black film of 2018, Black Panther. I wanted to bring an afro-futurism style to the brand and have implemented variations of this style for each annually set theme ever since.
CBIFF Founder, Crystyn Stewart also saw fit to have 2 Creative Media oversee video and motion, producing and editing a series of promotional content for social media.
